Thursday
Cold and changeable April and holiday weather. Again and again clouds pass through, these also bring one or the other rather light shower. A few snowflakes fall above 500 to 1200m altitude. The brisk westerly wind is tearing up the cloud cover more and more often. In the course of the day, clouds and showers will become less frequent and the sun will appear more often and longer. In the morning it can be slightly frosty, even during the day only a maximum of 6 to 12 degrees. At an altitude of 1500m, the temperatures rise from minus 5 degrees in the morning to about 0 degrees in the evening.
Friday
In the morning still partly frosty, but then noticeably warmer. Often the sun is shining, only in places somewhat denser clouds appear, most likely over the mountains. The wind is only weak. Temperatures rise to 12 to 17 degrees. At an altitude of 1500m in the morning still 1 degree, in the evening up to 5 degrees.
The further trend
Lots of sunshine on Saturday, foehn in the Alps. Only occasionally a few clouds appear. Highs will be between 14 and 21 degrees. In the morning, however, it is fresh, occasionally it can even be slightly frosty in the Mühlviertel.
On Sunday some sun, only a few clouds, with partly foehn south-easterly wind even warmer. During the day, temperatures rise to 18 to 24 degrees, maybe even 25 degrees.
On Monday it will be sunny with a few high clouds. Temperatures rise to 21 to 26 degrees.

How’s the weather?
I'm coming to Hallstatt in February – what will the weather be like? Our editorial department receives these and other questions regarding the weather, on a daily basis. For this reason we have compiled some information for you below: Between June and early September is midsummer in the region. We recommend light and airy clothes, bathing suits and of course an umbrella. Because without rain, it is not a summer. In the months of September to the end of November it is Autumn in the Salzkammergut. Warm clothing is required; non-slip footwear and the obligatory umbrella should be in your luggage. Between the beginning of December and the beginning of March winter has its say. Warm jackets and shoes are now in demand, because in these months, the thermometer can sometimes fall to minus 10 degrees Celsius.
