The ski resorts Dachstein West in Gosau and the Freesports Arena Krippenstein make sure of that; here you can enjoy the white splendour until Easter Monday.
But there's also plenty to do off the slopes in the UNESCO World Heritage region of Hallstatt Dachstein Salzkammergut and in Bad Ischl, the future European Capital of Culture 2024, especially around Easter: numerous exciting attractions and events await guests - with or without Easter eggs. A visit to the salt mine, a great classical music concert or an unforgettable ski tour on the Dachstein.
